Intel Announces PC Paathshala in collaboration with The Times of India

E-Learning has become the new form of learning with the strict movement rules and lock-down restrictions, students are forced to complete their studies from home. Teachers are up-skilling themselves to teach students online. To provide a unique and one of a kind experience Intel in India has collaborated with the Times of India (TOI) to launch PC Paathshala, a unique industry-wide initiative aimed at enabling India to adapt to teaching and learning online.

PC Paathshala will bring user-friendly and easy-to-consume content, developed and curated by industry experts, teachers, students, and parents across India. From imparting knowledge on accessories and tools needed for ideal teaching set up to keeping malware at bay; from informative and helpful talks by e-learning experts to content that keeps e-learning engaging in and beyond the classroom, the platform is set to be a reliable online education handbook for everyone.

PC Paathshala will empower parents and teachers via a series of videos, masterclass sessions, and articles to effectively sustain student engagement and elevate e-learning outcomes. Easy to use concepts and tactics will help them better respond to challenges such as lack of socializing or discipline in students as they continue to learn virtually.

The online learning ecosystem needs a variety of tools like a notebook or desktop PC, high-speed internet connection, rich data visualization techniques, video conferencing software, teaching tools, and much more. PC Paathshala will bring together all the important stakeholders in this transition – from PC manufacturers and retailers to educational technology leaders – to empower everyone associated with the education system with the skills they need to take modern learning to a new level. Academic institutions around the world are responding to the pandemic with a shift to digital learning, providing the trigger for an unprecedented online boom for education. However, in markets like India, there is still tremendous opportunity to scale by equipping education providers, parents, and students with the necessary know-how and infrastructure to enable effective virtual learning. We recognize that the role the technology industry plays in the world is more essential now than it has ever been. We’re very proud to bring the ecosystem together to launch PC Paathshala to address the urgent need for elevating e-learning access and outcomes in the country
