Logitech MK220 wireless keyboard & mouse review

Logitech Mk220 is a set of wireless keyboard and mouse combo. The overall packaging of the MK220 is great. The wireless keyboard and mouse are compact and very easy to setup and use. The wireless keyboard and mouse are plug and play compliant and once you plug in the USB receiver which you receive, is connected to the laptop/computer &  you are ready to go. Recently we purchased this compact keyboard and mouse to add on to our laptop and here’s the detailed review about the MK220 keyboard and mouse set from Logitech

The Keyboard is a compact one and is equivalent to a laptop keyboard.The Size of the keyboard is almost same with the keyboard you get a 15″ laptop. Keys are easy to use and if you are switching from a full sized keyboard then it would take some time for you to get familiar with the keys positioning and regaining that typing speed. As the keyboard is a little compact one the size of the keys is bit small. The keyboard also has the multimedia function which can be accessed using the function just like we have on the laptops. Sometimes while using the keyboard you get the joy of using it. The keyboard keys don’t make a sound when are using it and the perfect partner to use it when you don’t want to anyone around due to your fast typing. The compact keyboard is about 36% smaller than standard keyboards but still has all the standard keys. There is enough room for you to distinguish between the keys. There’s no led indicator to know if num lock, caps lock, and scroll lock are enabled or not. To make the keyboard compact most of the multimedia and function keys have to be used using the FN key. This MK220 keyboard is a perfect replacement for your laptop keyboard. Due to slim and compact size, it also fits in the laptop bag along with other stuff. The mouse is a full sized one and does not the red laser optical light on its bottom like every other do have. The mouse is really great and been designed amazingly and it feels amazing when you use it. One notable thing is both Keyboard and Mouse are very light in weight.

Logitech MK220: Performance

There’s no doubt about the joy of typing and scrolling this set of keyboard and mouse offer. The keyboard and mouse do not lag a bit and offer seamless experience even from a distance of 8metres far from the receiver. In free time, tried connect it to my Super Android TV and it was great experience using this set on tv. The connectivity and number of features this keyboard offers is really great considering the price which it comes for. The mouse never disappoints and works pretty well all of the time. The mouse and keyboard go on to auto sleep mode if they are left inactive for a longer period of time. This auto sleep mode helps in saving battery but again the Logitech claims to have the keyboard battery life up to a year and mouse for about 6 months which I feel a little skeptical about.
