Coolpad is a known name in India. The company had previously launched some really great budget phones. The phones really performed well in the offline as well as the online market. Recently the Chinese handset maker announced the launch of the latest budget offering of Coolpad Cool 3 Plus in India. The company was really generous enough to send us a test sample to review.
Coolpad Cool 3 Plus: Design
The Phone looks really great and premium on first look. The phone features a gradient back with Ocean Blue and Purple colors. The back of the phone looks really awesome and catches an eye at first look. The camera module is placed vertically at the back with a single lens. The front of the device is just screen with a Dew Drop notch and some bezels around the screen. The Phone comes with 5.71″ Inch screen with a resolution of 750*1520 pixels. The volume rockers are present on the left side of the phone and Sim card tray is present on the left. Surprisingly the phone offers Dual VoLTE standby That means you can use two 4G Sim cards at the same time.
Coolpad Cool 3 Plus: Performance
The Phone is powered by 1.3 Octa-core Mediatek Processor and the phone runs on the latest Android 9 Pie. It comes with 3000 mAh Battery. The phone is able to perform the basic tasks really well and the low-end games like Temple Run, Agent Dash, and candy crush are very smooth to play on it. The Games at the time showed some lag but that’s understandable due to the low processor. The phone is really smooth in operating, The Custom UI of Coolpad is very easy to operate and if you have used any phones from Xiaomi, Huawei, Infinix it would be very easy to operate. The functions are very similar to the phones mentioned above. There are not many options available for customizations. Coolpad Cool 3 Plus comes with 32GB of storage and 3GB of Ram.
As far as the cameras are concerned, the Coolpad Cool 3 Plus on the rear packs a 13-megapixel camera. The rear camera setup has autofocus. It sports an 8-megapixel camera on the front for selfies.

Connectivity options on the Coolpad Cool 3 Plus include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth v5.0, USB OTG, Micro-USB, 3G, and Dual 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Sensors on the phone include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, compass/ magnetometer, proximity sensor, and fingerprint sensor.
