Coolpad: Wins Prestigious Awards And Unveils Conjr (CES)
CoolPad is growing faster than ever has already booked its growth by winning three awards at IDG 2016-2017 Global Top Brands awarding ceremony. Due to its remarkable performance in 2016, Coolpad was the recipient of 3 awards from the International Data Group (IDG). “Global Smartphone Brands Top 15”, “Global Smart Connected Devices Top 20”, “Cool Changer S1- The Best Overall Performing Smartphone of 2016”; Also at the prestigious event, Coolpad made some significant announcements, of which some are listed below:
- Coolpad Conjr unveiled– Coolpad Conjr sports a 5- inch IPS 2.5D (720×1280 pixels) display, weighing 148 g and is competitively priced at $179.99. The smartphone will be available in gold and grey variants. It has 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera both tagged with LED flash. This is Coolpad Americas first unlocked smartphone in the U.S. market, marking their official entry into the fast growing open market space. The unlocked conjr will work on T-Mobile, AT&T, or any of their MVNO partners. The phone is powered with 3BG RAM with 16GB inbuilt storage which can be expanded up to 64GB. The smartphone is expected to be launched in the month of January in India.
- Strategic Partnership with Amazon India: Coolpad and Amazon India also agreed to a strategic understanding that Coolpad will retail its products exclusively on Amazon.in. Both companies will jointly focus on increasing sales volumes.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Syed Tajuddin, CEO Coolpad India said,
