OnePlus Unveils OnePlus 6T in India With Screen Unlock & More
OnePlus has been increasing the expectation of the consumers by launching new devices every 6months and if we go by the reports, OnePlus 6 has been the most successful smartphone in India in the Premium segment. The device has received tremendous support from users. It’s almost 6 months and it’s time for the new OnePlus 6T, there have been a lot of rumor mills going around the phone, to put an end to these rumor mills OnePlus has launched 6T in India today.
OnePlus 6T features 6.4” display with a resolution of 1080×2340 pixels and it runs on the latest Android 9.0 Pie out of the box. The device is powered by Snapdragon 845 octa-core processor. The new 6T comes with 6GB Ram as the base variant. An 8GB Variant is available as well. The new device has a battery of 3700 mAh. The rear camera comes in a dual lens setup and has 16MP + 20 MP supporting a resolution of 4616 x 3464 pixels. Other sensors include a Light sensor, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Compass, Gyroscope. So, does it have a fingerprint sensor? Yes, it does. For graphical performance that can make games run smoothly. This phone has got an Adreno 630 GPU. Onboard storage is at 64 GB with the option to expand the memory by No. Design is one of the most important factors when it comes to mobiles. This phone is 8.2 mm slim and weighs 180 grams.
OnePlus 6T will comes with ‘Smart Boost’ for enhanced gaming performance. Games on OnePlus 6T will load 20% faster with Smart Boost. Games will also have lower frame rate drops. there was no mention of which games will work with smart boost or will it have an effect on the battery life but the results were stunning when I tried the device for a short period of time.
The pricing of OnePlus 6T has been on the higher side and may disappoint someone waiting to buy the new smartphone. OnePlus 6T base model with 6GB+128GB will be priced at Rs 37,999 in India. OnePlus 6T (8GB+128GB) will be available at Rs 41,999, and the top-model with 8GB+256GB storage will be priced at Rs 45,999.
Coming to the accessories part from OnePlus, there are new cases announced for the new OnePlus. OnePlus has also launched its Type-C Bullets Wireless at Rs 1,490. OnePlus has revamped it backpack which is now called ‘OnePlus Explorer Backpack’.
OnePlus on the keynote also announced that the company will roll out Android Updates for 2 Years and Security patches for 3 Years.
The New device will be available through Amazon exclusively online and offline the smartphone brand has partnered with Croma and Reliance Digital as we reported earlier.
